If I catch my neighbors vandalizing my property on video, what do I do next?
I was thinking of setting up cameras to monitor my house and yard, since I’ve been getting harassed by neighbors from hell. Suppose I did catch them on video, stealing/dumping trash/trespassing/breaking into my shed. If I had video evidence, would I take it to police to press charges? I can’t swing a lawyer or monitored home alarm system right now, so without those kinds of authority to back me up, is it worthwhile to just put up cameras?
