Google replacement

Google’s acquisition of nest has given me enough motivation to move away from them in terms of home security. I already (begrudgingly) offloaded my nest guard and sensors, and now I’m looking to replace my camera system and move to something with local storage.

At the moment, I’ve been looking at the Eufycam 3 for outdoor cameras, but I’d also be interested in indoor compatibility as well and was hoping for input from current users?

Any additional recommendations would also be greatly appreciated: ● self-monitoring home security system – I know the nest detect sensors were almost unbeatable, curious if there’s anything similar? – I’ve (briefly) looked into Home assistant, but it felt a little to foreign/complicated, even to me. ● indoor cameras – experiences with them and the Homebase 3? Issues? ● connectivity – I live in an older, stone, lath & mortar home, so wifi isn’t the greatest, but it works; any issues with cameras connecting to home base?

Thanks!
