What is a good way to mount cameras/fixtures to vinyl siding.
Our home is almost complete and we have a number of ethernet drops poking out of the exterior walls in different locations for security cameras, access points, etc. Right now, they are just unterminated wires poking through the sheathing and the vinyl siding. What would be a good way to mount security cameras and some utility boxes (like this to the siding? Bonus points if it can be done by a layperson like myself. I have seen the vinyl siding hooks, but I am not sure I’d trust them to hold expensive equipment.
