Used/older Vista 20P boards – are version/revision numbers relevant?

I’m looking at some used Vista 20P boards to tinker around with, with the eventual goal of setting up basic self-monitoring with an Envisalink module. New 20Ps are pretty expensive here in Canada. I’m wondering if I need to be careful about the age or revision number of the used boards.

For example, I am looking at:

WA20PCN 8.1 2010 REV 8.1 (comes with case and resistors) – $70

WA20PCN 7.0 2009 REV 7.0 – (board only) $50

There are some older ones too. Is there anything I need to watch out for buying used? How old is too old? I can’t find any info on current revision numbers so am wondering if things have significantly changed on these over the past 10 years.

Thanks
