6160 keypad questions – installer code only works on 1 of 2 and are the keypads "independent"?
2 questions about my keypad as I continue to tinker and learn:
- I have 2 keypads connected to my Vista 50P. Only one of them will accept the installer code. Why is this happening, and can I correct it so both can be used for programming?
- If I want to disconnect 1 keypad temporarily to use it to program another unrelated panel and then reconnect it after, will any of the original programming be lost or transferred? Is anything ‘stored’ on the keypad?
TIA!
