Are there any professional alarm monitoring companies out there besides Alarm.com based ones? From what I can tell pretty much everybody that sells professional grade gear uses ADC as their back end. I currently have an ADC system, but have not been a fan. Their cameras are garbage, low resolution, low frame rate, and expensive. I’ve had tons of problems with their thermostats not following the scheduling or the automations we have to change temperature or mode based on doors being left open or the system being armed.
I could go with a more consumer grade system, like Abode, Ring, Cove, Simplysafe, etc. But most of those look like they use consumer grade stuff that of questionable reliability. Their camera options also aren’t great looking as most are wifi only.
Are there any real competitors to ADC that I could still use a Honeywell or QOLSys panel with?
