Our detached garage was broken into recently and a few quite valuable bicycles were stolen. It was clearly a targeted job, as I had reinforced the service door, and bolted one of the bikes to the ground which gave the thieves quite a bit of resistance but they went through with it anyway. None of our neighbors were burglarized.
I have a suspicion that somebody tagged one of our bikes with an Airtag, or Tile while we were at work so they could follow us home and steal it at night. Because it’s a detached garage I doubt I would have been close enough for long enough to trigger the anti-stalking functionality – garage is a about fifty feet from the house.
Is there a way to get that info from either company? Would the anti-stalking function would have triggered for either (I have an Pixel 6, and looks like that safety feature was enabled)
