I’ve got a Paradox [EVO192] with a door controller [DGP-ACM12] running a single [door strike] with [card reader]. It’s a commercial building, Tuesday to Saturday, 0900 to 1900.
I’ve got it working to unlock, with the [door closed switch] feeding into the [CT terminal] (1k ohm when sealed / open when open). I had the [door locked switch] in series with that too, but it caused the panel to not accept 2 badge swipes to arm.
What should I do with the [door locked status switch], send it to another zone?
Is disarming with prox card [fob] a bad idea because if someone steals the keys they have access to the building? Do you recommend a schedule for fob disarm, requiring a code if outside of the normal schedule?
