I’m building a house in a somewhat unsafe area. I’ll cover every inch of the yard and outside the perimeter walls with cameras. What I want to do is to be able to look at my tablet / internal website / whatever and see the positions of people on a top-down 2d map. What I really want to do is bring that info into something like HomeAssistant where I can trigger alarms based on logic, but first things first.

Is that a thing? I’m good with high tech but I’m completely new to home security. (My current front door doesn’t even lock, so…)
