I am setting up a new camera system and I am going to put a camera to watch driveway. I have a few different mounting positions but I’m really debating where might be the best option.
I have a 2 story house and on the garage there is a ledge that protrudes out a decent bit.
The ledge itself is a possible mounting position but it is only about 7-8ft off the ground so security of the camera itself would be a concern.
The other mounting position is on the second story. It would be more secure but I’m worried that the ledge would obscure the view of the driveway too much as you’d only be able to see about half of the vehicles. We both back our vehicles in so the front doors would be visible though.
Any ideas or tips that could help me with this issue or would you just say its user preference and what I can deal with?
