As the title states I need some tips for installing a system. I am thinking of purchasing Reolink cameras.

I want the doorbell but I have no prior doorbell or wiring to the front door. This problem is made worse that I have a vaulted ceiling and that attic space is inaccessible as it’s too thin for me to fit. It is very close to the section of the house that has accessible attic space but not really close enough.

Would it be worth the effort to still go through running cables even if it means cutting more out? Or should I go WiFi w/battery?

Edit: How much slower response time is wifi w/battery? I just didn’t want like a 5-7 second delay just to get it to my phone or even the chime. I know Reolink doesn’t offer battery so I was going to go with Lorex in this scenario unless you have better recommendations.
