Looking for a IP doorbell camera. My current one is terrible
Does anyone know of an IP/ONVIF doorbell camera, either POE or wifi? Needing to replace my current one.
The one I have is from Nelly’s Security, pretty sure it’s a white label Hikvision.
It’s terrible. It was never good, but I used to at least get motion notifications. I’ve never been able to successfully answer the door.
I’m not sure if it just doesn’t get enough power from the doorbell transformer or what.
These days it will record to my NVR but no motion notifications, the app is all but useless, and it rarely connects to live video when someone rings the doorbell.
