My dad had dementia and was recently in a car accident, where he broke his neck and femur. After spending 2 weeks in the hospital, under 24/7 supervision, to prevent him from removing his cervical collar, the hospital moved him to a nursing home, where he basically has no supervision at all. It doesn’t look like we can get him out of there or like any nursing home or rehab even offers 24/7, one on one supervision. He’s been removing his collar several times a day since he has been there.

I had the idea to get a security camera and an Alexa Show, so that I can give the camera login to family members around the country, so we can all keep an eye on him and drop in on the Alexa Show, in order to redirect him.

I’m wondering if there are any camera systems which would work for this, since all of our family members aren’t on the same Amazon account. It would be amazing if there’s a camera that links with Alexa and allows you to have 2 way conversations over the Amazon Show, without everyone needing to be on the same Amazon account.

Some other features which would be helpful are a privacy screen, pan and tilt, night vision, motion detection and siren. I’d prefer a wireless camera but I’m open to anything.
