Clare Equipment Issures
I moved into a home with Clare security equipment (several cameras, door, and window sensors) and smart home control for lights, etc.
The installer who put this security system in lives 1 1/2 hours away. It’s a new business, about two years. No office address. One 5-star Google review, no text. The FB page is dismal. The company would be better off not having one. The last post was a picture of a rock and roll band, and over two years, there have been only about 5 entries not even related to security or smart home equipment.
I cannot believe the person’s thoughts when hiring this place to do a security system in this house! Zero vetting or research. Just the first person who said he could do the job, apparently. And so far away!
I do not feel safe here and need to get it fixed.
How can I find someone who services this equipment near me? I contacted Clare directly and requested a list of people for service near me but never heard back from them. On their website, I can only find support for their dealers.
I had ADT before and never had trouble getting service or contacting someone. The company that monitors the Clare alarm system is fine, but they don’t service it.
Any advice you can give me would be helpful. I do not feel safe with this system and, frankly, don’t trust the guy who owns the business or put it in.
