Required by home insurance to purchase a home monitoring system with 24/7 police and fire call. suggestions for the cheapest/most cost effective??
Been shopping for insurance this month and all of the providers in my area either mandate a security system that has 24/7 fire/police monitoring or have a significant discount on their plans. My broker suggested simplisafe to me. Seems like i can get their monitoring for $20/month. are there any cheaper systems out there that can do this? I currently have 3 security cameras hooked up to blue iris. but it doesn’t call the cops or do anything with smoke detection. Also have an old Arlo wireless security camera system that i really only use for pest control. I heard they have a 24/7 monitoring but is $25 a month. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
