I want it to be programmable, and not super expensive. If it has a reasonable web ui that’s perfect.
I got an rtsp camera, which is great for format copying (no transcoding needed), but it NEEDS periodic restarts and only has smartphone apps. I want to automate that. AXIS cameras do all that stuff, but they are at least 5 times as expensive. It will be mounted indoor, and most likely direct ethernet connection
