Recommendations for IP Camera to watch for bats
I’m looking for an IP camera with night vision and wifi and is powered by AC that I can point up at the roofline of my house. We think we have bats hanging out and having midnight snacks. What we don’t know is if they’re coming from somewhere inside the attic/roof or not. I expect I’ll have to move the camera around a number of times as I see where the bats are coming from.
I’m struggling to find a camera that I can just set on a balcony or concrete and point upwards. I have an AsusStor NAS I’d just as soon use to record the video and not send to the cloud. I won’t be able to run PoE to all the locations, but I have plenty of outlets around the house. Obviously night vision is a must.
Bonus points if the camera isn’t white, since the house is a dark color (or at least it can take some spray paint).
