Look for a security camera system.
Like the title says, I am looking for a security camera system and not sure where to start. Below are my needs.

Local storage only. I’ve already got a NAS with 12tb of storage that I can easily increase to 16tb if need be.

Be able to remotely view live and recorded footage via Mobile app. I can host a server, configure a VPN etc but I do not want the footage going through a third party cloud. I am fine with using software to do this as long as it only goes through my network or VPN

No subscriptions ideally. Since I am hosting myself shouldn’t be a problem but wanted to state that.

It doesn’t have to be a full package. If there is software that manages the footage and allows for remote viewing, then a separate camera system that’s fine.
I am not even sure if all that is possible. The main goal is to limit 3rd party cloud access. Which might mean I won’t be able to remotely view but I am hoping I can.
