I want to start by saying I have 0 knowledge when it comes to security cameras and stuff like that. I just moved into a new house and I want to install a camera on the outside, and I don’t want to fiddle with ethernet cables or anything like that. I checked my local Amazon and found this, I’m guessing this would do the job?

The router will probably be a bit far from the camera so I’d probably have to buy a range extender if the connection isn’t good enough, however, would I still be able to access the camera even if my PC or phone is on a different network just using IP or something?

I’m honestly not sure how it all works, but from my understanding it’ll probably continuously record using the SD card installed, and I can access it at any time using my mobile or PC since it’s connected to WiFi? And if so, can I download/delete daily footage remotely or would I have to physically take out the SD card?

And lastly, in case of a power outage (which happens often here) does it automatically reconnect to WiFi?
