How do advertisers get their links put on shady sites with tons of pop up ads?
I was using a movie streaming site and every single click I made would redirect me to a different link, usually a product or scam thing or something of that sort. I’m wondering how the people who make these seedy advertisements that are meant to pop up unexpectedly actually get them onto these movie streaming sites. I’ve looked at the sites themselves and there doesn’t seem to be any contact for potential advertisers. Is there a middleman or something of that sort that guarantees a certain number of site visits by running these pop up ads?
