Outdoor security camera sys that don’t need light for hires recording?
No light because we have raccoons and opossums and the light will break fast anyway from constantly being triggered by those animals’ movement. Not to mention flashing into house next door neighbor’s bedroom windows. High res for police to identify people with. Is that even possible?
Does it help if the outdoor cameras are discreet, so they’re not identified and disabled first thing by enterprising robbers? Or do obvious cameras signals to the robbers this house will be too much work and better skipped?
I’ll also happily take recommendations of any home sec sys you think is best, light or no light, as long as they give high res images.
We had a police visit just now asking if we were awake and knew anything about an armed robbery 2 nights ago, and he asked if we have any security camera footage he could use in this case, and we didn’t. Hence me asking.
