Vista 20p – new DIY install and most stuff works, just a few questions
Greetings,
Thanks mostly this subreddit, I was able to replace my 1998 Vista 20SE with a Vista 20p as a DIY project. There’s just a few things that I haven’t found an answer to yet, can anyone provide some guidance?
- I added a DT8070 wired motion sensor upstairs and programmed it with Zone Type 04. Since adding it and trying to set the alarm in AWAY mode, the 6160RF keypad shows a fault on that motion zone and prevents setting the alarm (without bypass). What am I missing?
- Is STAY mode supposed to still show a countdown (I have *197 set to 1)
- Just to confirm, is a wireless smoke alarm zone type “9” and not “09”?
- What zone type for a 5800Wave wireless siren
