A BRIT holidaymaker has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he allegedly tried to drown his daughter-in-law in a swimming pool.
Mark Gibbon, 62, was reportedly on a luxury holiday with his family at the Solterra Resort, near Disney World in Florida, when he got into a feud about his will, authorities said.

The granddad from Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, allegedly attempted to push the 33-year-old mum under the water at their holiday rental in a quarrel over the “stipulations of his will”.
His nine-year-old granddaughter even leapt in the pool in an attempt to rescue her mum.
But he pushed her away during the alleged attack in Davenport.
Cops said: “She advised that she could not breathe and believed that she was going to drown.
“[The victim] advised that she had to fight Mark in order to get away from him and from under the water but he kept pushing her back under.”
The granddad allegedly only stopped trying to drown the mum when witnesses said they had called the cops.
Police responded to the ordeal Solterra Resort on Pine Tree Trail in the afternoon for a disturbance in a backyard swimming pool.
Gibbon was taken into custody on August 3 at around 5pm where he admitted to pushing his daughter-in-law under the water.
But he denied trying to drown her.
The mum reportedly suffered a couple of scratches during the alleged horror ordeal.
Witnesses said the Brit tourist kept shoving the woman’s head underwater during the fight.
The 62-year-old claimed the pair had been drinking when they got into a row about the will, Law and Crime reported.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said: “It’s great that Polk County draws visitors from all across the world, but we expect vacationers to behave while they visit with us, just as we expect our lifelong residents to do the same.
“Because Mr Gibbon couldn’t control his anger, he may find himself spending a lot more time in Florida than he had anticipated.”
Gibbon has been charged with attempted second-degree murder and battery.
He is next due to appear in court on September 9 later this year.
Solterra Resort is less than 10 miles away from Disney World, about a 15 minute drive.
