How to copy company codebase without getting in trouble?

I’m about to leave a software company I work for. The codebase I’m working on is really good. Clean, tested, best practices followed all around, solid architecture. In the codebase we adress a variety of problems and use cases. I would like to have this codebase for future references on whatever projects I’m working on. I’ll not be selling or modify it in any way.

The problem is that all our laptops are tracked. I’m not sure what actions are tracked and what not, but the requests, the pages I visit and the apps I use are definitely tracked. How do I copy the codebase to another laptop without getting caught? Thanks!

Editor’s Note

Taking care of some friends who are in Montreal on a surprise visit. They are here to watch the Montreal Canadiens play the Boston Bruins, and I have been invited. Who am I to say no to a hockey game. 🙂 Blogging will return late tonight.
