Muslims believe that the Quran is Allah’s Eternal Speech, in existence form before the foundation of the universe. However, when we look at history we find something strange – the Quran borrows again and again from human sources. Before the Muslim jumps up and says “we believe the Bible is a corruption of the original Quran, so we’d expect similarities,” that isn’t what we are talking about. We are talking about stuff never considered inspired by anyone.
