tbh didn’t know where else to put this. Can scanners see individual pixels on a printed page?
Hello, I was wondering if a scanner could see individual pixels on a page that has been printed. Could the scanner determine the existing color value of a pixel printed on a page accurate to the value of the original that said page was printed from. The reason I ask is because I was brainstorming whether or not its possible to store data within a picture printed on a piece of paper and be able to scan it to access that data. This is just a thought experiment of mine without much factual precedent on it, so I figured I’d ask people much more qualified than me.
