First, too restrictive in who it relates to—i.e., marriage as applied exclusively between a man and a woman. Or, second, some wonder if the Bible is too restrictive regarding divorce. And it’s certainly no secret, that when you compare what the Bible has to say about these topics with today’s culture, it’s clear, the viewpoints are worlds apart. What’s even more sad, is there are those whose faith has been deconstructed on account of these topics. These two worlds—namely, the world of Scripture and our world are too far apart for some to comprehend. Consequently, many of those who are quick to go the way of culture have swept Christianity into what they consider the irrelevant dustbin of history. And make no mistake.
