Iran launched missiles towards Israel, Israel’s military said
US president Donald Trump said a “major combat operation” against Iran had begun as he called for the country’s government to be overthrown.
Dozens of attacks were carried out by warplanes launched from bases and aircraft carriers in the region. President Trump said the targets included missile sites, Iran’s navy and nuclear facilities.
The United States and Israel launched an attack Saturday on Iran, with the first apparent strike happening near the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
