I was chatting with my hacker wherein he opened .exe files

This happened a long time ago, must’ve been 2008, when I was 12/13 yrs old. During that period I was into creating phishing sites/keylogging so I could empty RuneScape banks, so I was looking in the dangerous corners of the internet and must’ve downloaded something malicious. Anyway, one day I was on the Windows XP minding my own business and than suddenly something suspicious happened, for a split second I saw a .exe file open and close, subsequently a window closed. I opened wordpad and started typing in it, “Hello, am I hacked?” or something like that. Than an .exe file opened, just a blank file except for a message: “yes you are”. We had a little conversation, I wrote my stuff in wordpad and he by opening .exe files with something written in it. I managed to get rid of him but my RuneScape password was already changed. What kind of virus would this have been? I stopped geeking by 14 and stopped online gaming completely by 16 so I forgot pretty much everything.
