I recently moved into a new house that is very large (5000+ sq ft) and has a thick layer of concrete in between each of its 4 floors to help with soundproofing. I solved my Wi-Fi problems with a relatively large gigabit Asus mesh network, but I’ve noticed that my SimpliSafe is very spotty because every sensor needs to be within range of the base station. The sensors on the top floor regularly disconnect from the base station on the ground floor.
Does Ring or any other system work better with an existing mesh network like this?
