How to remove all history of edited pictures?

For context, I am a software engineer. If you comment, please do not say “remove the exifdata”. I already did, it’s not the solution.

Objective: The picture must pass a 3 or a 4 on JPEGSnoop (this is a mandatory test).

The goal here is to pass an edited/photoshopped picture as legit. However, there is a problem with the actual data. When you pass it through JPEGSnoop, it will say it is edited for any conversion or transformation. Even when you just pass a legit picture though messenger or Outlook, it will says it is edited (since it went through libraries to convert files).

This seems to be the issue:

EXIF.Make / Software EXIF.Model Quality Subsamp Match?

————————- ———————————– —————- ————–

SW :[IJG Library ] [045 ]

The following IJG-based editors also match this signature:

SW :[GIMP ] [045 ]

SW :[IrfanView ] [045 ]

SW :[idImager ] [045 ]

SW :[FastStone Image Viewer ] [045 ]

SW :[NeatImage ] [045 ]

SW :[Paint.NET] [045 ]

SW :[Photomatix ] [045 ]

SW :[XnView ] [045 ]

Based on the analysis of compression characteristics and EXIF metadata:

ASSESSMENT: Class 1 – Image is processed/edited

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

It detects a “IJG Library” which I guess is a library for editing and using JPEG files.

In order to bypass it, I tried taking a screenshot of the picture with Windows’ PrtSc, but it counts as an edit. I tried to use Python’s screenshot library as well, but it did the same thing. I tried to upload it as a filter on Snapchat, but it does the same thing.

I think the best solution would be to use a Virtual Camera with OBS and make a picture using a Camera app, or use a screenshot software. Better would be to remove this data directly.
