Has anyone been able to connect a 3rd party ONVIF POE cam to a Lorex NVR? I’m trying to connect an Annke C800, model I91BL POE camera to a Lorex N845 NVR and can’t get it connected. After I add the device I always get “The login return time is up”. I enabled ONVIF on the cam and created an ONVIF ID and pswd. On the Lorex NVR, the device search doesn’t see the cam so I had to add manually.
I’m not sure about some of the config settings such as;
1) The IP address of the cam when connected directly to the router was 10.0.0.185. My existing Lorex cam shows an IP address of 10.1.1.128. The Lorex NVR has an internal switch with a default gateway of 10.1.1.1. Which address should be used in the device config?
2) Does RTSP need to be set to customized, should
3) If anyone has successfully connected an ONVIF POE to a Lorex NVR a screen print of the device setup would be appreciated. Tips are always welcome.
