A submarine teeming with cocaine has been discovered by naval officials in Mexico as they found a huge haul of the drug.
We got a SimpliSafe system, so I thought I’d get their external camera, to keep it all integrated and take advantage of their video verification for police dispatch.
The problem we discovered (as many others have, it turns out) is that the camera is slow to start recording upon motion detection, by several seconds. So, for example, we only ever see people like delivery and postmen leaving the property instead of seeing them approach, or if anyone enters the driveway and makes their way towards the back, we only see them from the side as they are walking past the camera/wall.
Needless to say this is not fit for purpose.
I am wondering what camera system would everyone here recommend for either instant motion recording or continuous recording (so upon motion detection the whole clip can be saved).
We are open to any suggestion, no matter if it’s cloud-based like SimpliSafe, or it requires a local base station etc.
