Could be voLTE be an attack vector?
Hi everyone, the title says it all… But let me elaborate a lil on that. I don’t quite understand how voLTE work in details but I was thinking, since it is a piece of software that decode and trasduce sounds to the speaker, maybe, MABYE, there could be a possibility to introduce an overflow or raise some kind of exception with a clever crafted payload, to like “jailbreak” from the program. I think this could be a stage 1 of a chains of exploit to gain access. The thought of it scares me because it could mean that with a simple call your phone is fricked. What do you think about?
