DMP Quote and Security Cameras
Hi folks, I’m looking to purchase a security system, and a company quoted me the following prices. Does it seem reasonable? $2,000 for 5 entrances (wireless exterior monitors for entrances) with following options to add-on: $175 per glass breaker or motion sensor, $75 per window sensor. Apparently, they use DMP equipment for everything, including sensors. It would be $65 per month for monitoring.
My other option that I was thinking of was purchasing either a DSC Neolink or Qolsys IQ4 with PowerG sensors and using https://alarm.com or https://alarmgrid.com for monitoring.
Separately, I am trying to purchase 4 outdoor cameras and an NVR on my own to monitor both at home and on my phone when away from home. I’m looking for one on each side of the house (narrow side alleys, a long backyard, wide front area). Does either of these setups seem ok?
