Cancelling Vivint within the first 3 days, and where to go from here.

Yesterday at 9 pm i’d been up for over 2 days running on 3 hours of sleep due to work and life. I told the tech this, which again, I should’ve & could’ve been more stern, but he seemed like a nice enough kid.

To make a long story short, I signed up for a package. After sleeping on it, I decided I could just do it myself. I also told the sales rep I was contemplating this, and he matter of fact told me “Look, try it for 3 days. If you don’t like it all, let me know. We take it down no questions asked”

Well, I did let him know…and his answer was “I have no idea how to cancel man, you’ll have to call the 1 800 number”. So now I’m 2 fucking hours on hold with the cancellation department. Where do I send this stupid letter to? They conveniently leave out the email they want you to send it in as. I also see there’s some additional info that I don’t have (customer ID?) that I need to include? I’m going off a post from 2018, I’m just concerned the email has changed from 5 years ago.
