I’ve been in this house for a year and I still haven’t figured out the security system and I’d appreciate if anybody could help me understand the components.

1. Best I’ve been able to figure out, the previous owner did business with ADT and had this system installed. I have a security system with a “2GIG Go” console. It has an internal battery that seems to be on its last legs https://i.imgur.com/LeyFCtp.jpg
2. The console is presumably wired to this box near the electrical panel containing an old battery that is due to be replaced and a “DPS Technologies LS1” thing that appears to be a battery charger and maybe delivers power to other devices. It’s lit red and I’m not sure what it means. The system started freaking out in the middle of the night and I had to disconnect the battery. 3. I also have a few 2GIG SMKT3-345 units linked to the system and I’ve had to change a few batteries.
4. It’s wired to a few doors and windows.

So as a homeowner, how do I go about maintaining this system? Any idea what the disconnected wires could be?
