I’m thinking about switching our home alarm from Ring Alarm to using a more professional Bosch B9512G. I have a training kit with all the goodies, and work is letting me keep it, yay:
I have several concerns:
-Is there any way to easily integrate z-wave devices into Bosch? I have some sensors that I’d like to keep as-is rather than hard wiring or replacing with Radion. If so, could it also work with a z-wave door lock? We currently use the Ring Alarm app to lock/unlock our door.
-I can subscribe to Bosch Remote Security Control app though work, (as well as register the panel for cloud connect and register the cell card). If I leave my employer, is there any way I can continue my subscription as an individual, or would I need to buy the services through another alarm company?
-What monitoring services do you like for Bosch? I can subscribe through work, but wanted to see if anyone had suggestions. Also, the option to add fire for monitored smoke alarms would be nice.
