I had been thinking about a getting some cameras with a NVR or maybe even my own server. It wasn’t high on my list so maybe 6 months out. During Halloween, I found out my doorbell chime was fried. This led to talking about doorbell cameras. Obviously, I don’t want a subscription, but I would prefer it not send video to some company’s servers.
Is there something standalone that will do that or something that I would need a NVR for? General thinking is wired power, wifi for data, indoor chime and notifications to the phones.
