So I currently have 4 Zmodo outdoor cameras and 4 indoor Zmodo cameras. They are all wireless and I have an old phone that I use to stream the 4 outdoor cameras pretty much 24/7 using the Zmodo app. I do like the Zmodo brand, but would like to upgrade to a newer and better company. So it might ne easier to state what I’m going for in the long run and would like some advice from everyone out there as to what they prefer and possibly a better solution than what I have in my head. So I’d like 4 outdoor PoE 4K Cameras with IR night vision, 1 doorbell PoE Camera, and 4 indoor PoE cameras with PTZ, 2 way audio, and ziR Night Vision. Now I would like to connect them to a desktop that I wpuld have an old external 3Tb HDD connected specifically for storage. I’d also like a cell phone app that would give me motion detection text notifications, preferably one that I don’t have to pay a monthly service for. Ideally, I’d like a security program that would also allow me to wire to an input board 10 glass breaks and 4 door contacts of any brand thar I would then have relays for each set up to set off an alarm if the circuit is opened. But I would like a program that would be the UI for both the intrusion as well as the CCTV. On top of this, I have 1 wired keypad on my garage door going outside that I would like to upgrade, and add another keypad for the actual garage bay door and run to that UI as well. Plus I want to add another keypad on the front door to replace the current keyed door lock. And one last item I want to add is a REX to the inside of my garage so that after 5 minutes of no movement detected, it triggers a relay to then shit the garage door, while also not opening the garage door. The wiring for that I have a good idea to do this using 2 Ice cube relays snd a separate power supply. I essentially want the capability of monitoring everything myself from my desktop PC as well as an app for my phone or tablet without paying a monthly subscription fee. I also would like the capability of having these cameras to be able to be transmitted to an extra TV monitor in my bedroom, a TV monitor in my garage, amd one in my living room. Is there available software that can integrate access control, cctv, and intrusion for a homeowner. I have plenty of things like door contacts and glass breaks, ACM8s with 12/24 volt power supplies, I have several REXs, I even have a few proximity HID readers. I also have more than enough old Honeywell sounders and sounder/strobes that I can put up as the output in case the circuit gets closed/opened on the contacts amd glass breaks and a board that should be able to run one circuit of these devices, though I’d have to figure the right resistance for that. Can anyone give some advice here? Is it better to go with a raspberry pie and find an open-source software that can integrate all these systems into one UI that also would give me phone app capabilities for remote viewing?
