Looking for a descent free video survellence software for my IP camera
Currently I have one IP camera in my house, it’s plugged into the LAN in the house. And in the living room I have an old laptop running 24-7 on the same LAN. The laptop has its lid closed all times and displays camera live image from camera’s IP (build-in management page) via a browser. The image is displayed on an external monitor.
With constant windows updates and everything else popups would come on top of the browser image every now and then, also the browser freezes after a few weeks which means it woule require refreshing of the webpage. Are there any good free video survellance software out there that can be used to replace my webpage setup. I would also consider using a paid software if the fee is reasonable and one-off payment.
