Recommendations for a backyard to monitor our cats
We are looking to install a POE security cam system for our backyard, with the express purposes (in priority order).
- Detect if the cats scale the walls
- Potential intruders
- General checking up on cats movements
This is the overhead view.
The blue is our extension and the front of that has to be monitored in case the cats climb up.
The red is the garden shed and the front of that has to be monitored as well.
Will be using Frigate and starting from scratch. Have three units of Reolink Duo 2 but open to buying new cams for better coverage.
What would be the best way to position cameras to enable 360 coverage with good monitoring? Current line of thinking is two Reolink Duo 2s back to back in the middle of the garden… But it’s kinda ugly.
