The biggest problem with Mecca is the issue of water. Mecca doesn’t have it. For a city to support a significant population it needs water, enough for both drinking and to supply fertile land for food, and yet Mecca is and has always been in a middle of a desert. Where there is no water there is no food, no people, NO HISTORY.
