With the massive screw up that lastpass have done in the last year, especially trying to hide the extent of their leaks – What do i switch to now that i no longer trust their service? Dashlane? keepass? What does r/hacking suggest for a password manage…

My local library has two options for wifi. 1. Extremely slow free wifi. You can hardly load a page on it. Option 2. Fast but cost £10 a day which is absolutely ridiculous. I’m a student I can’t afford that shit and I come to library everyday to study and today I just so fed up with the slow Internet. If anyone have an idea how I can “hack” my way in to the premium wifi I will be eternally greaful by doing my funking work and less stress. submitted by /u/robindronar |
So I currently have Tryhackme premium subscription and I am enjoying a lot, and in last year I progressed a lot(basically, I am not immediate beginner). I am also a student.
So which platform subscription should I purchase? And what is difference between HTB and HTB academy? Which one is best for both learning and practice? And what about value for money? I can buy yearly subscription of all of them at once, but I know that I won’t be able to keep up as I have other things like college, backend dev and internships in the way, so I am thinking of buying them one by one and learning on the way. And what are your reviews of HTB VIP, if anyone has burchased it.
Thank you

This is a thought experiment, I’m not actually gonna do it (unless I get the rest of my office on board). My workplace has a beverage machine that makes coffee, hot water, espresso, hot chocolate, and such. A few ingredients go in: water, coffee beans,…
So I was watching a YouTube video and the dude was showing the dark web and asking questions etc, then the attacker sent his IP to him and he was routed through tor and had a VPN on virtual machine. How is that possible? submitted by /u/O…
So I was reading a book and it said “malware will only be detected if it is on the disk” Where else could it hide? submitted by /u/Ok_Sir4235 [link] [comments]
I am 24 who works a menial jobs. I have Bachalors’s in law and finance. I hate people and working normal jobs. I had knack for computers since 2013 but never took it seriously.
These past days, I am in love with them and pursuing them at night after my call center job.
I spend 7 to 8 hours after work.
I live 9 to 5 and then do 5 to 9 in computers. I sleep for 3 hours and Love to work by being high on Energy drinks.
Can a man of average to below average be a good hacker in 4 to 5 years?
I want to mess with reverse engineering, 0 day exploits, scripting, hardware, AI and more.
