DRDL conducted a 1,200-second ground test of a full-scale actively cooled scramjet combustor at its SCPT facility in Hyderabad on 9 May – nearly doubling the January 2026 run-time and graduating from subscale validation to a flight-representative configuration under India’s Hypersonic Cruise Missile Development Program.
