HORROR footage shows how cops found a screaming girl tied up in a Fritzl-style dungeon before her alleged captor was killed by a vengeful mob.
The missing nine-year-old had been desperately screaming for help from the underground lair in Tramandaí, southwest of São Paulo, Brazil, when hero officers rushed to help her on Wednesday.

Moments after she was rescued from the hellhole, she quickly pointed out her alleged abductor who was later lynched by an angry mob.
The man, identified as Marco Antônio Bocker Jacob allegedly lured the girl into his shop with an ice lolly before tying her up and stuffing her into the dungeon underneath.
He then blocked the trap door with piles of beer crates, it is claimed.
Bodycam footage shows cops scrambling to remove the crates, smashing bottles in the process, and prying open the door with a crowbar.
They eventually got through to find the terrified child with her hands tied.
When she realised she was being rescued, the girl pointed and screamed: “It was him, he abused me.”
The girl was quickly passed over to her family who clutched her tightly and sobbed.
The 61-year-old was arrested at the scene but as word spread around the local area, an angry mob gathered and beat him.
The store owner’s shop and car were also vandalised by the furious group who launched any missiles they could find at his property.
Despite calls for back up from cops, the lynching continued.

The child was reported missing on Tuesday and was found the following day[/caption]
Eventually, it took rubber bullets, tear gas, and pepper spray to tear the mob away from Jacob.
By then he was badly hurt and was taken to an emergency care unit where he was later pronounced dead.
After the hellish ordeal, the girl told officers more about the Fritzl-like hell she had endured.
Sgt Christian Pacheco told local media: “We pulled her up by the arm, and she went straight into a colleague’s arms.
“We successfully got her out of there, placed her in an unmarked vehicle with her family, and took her to the emergency care unit for initial treatment.”
The girl had been reported missing by her family on Tuesday after she failed to come home from playing in a local square with her friends.
As residents joined in the search for the child, her father went to the store and became instantly suspicious of Jacob.

The girl’s father called police to the store after finding Jacob acting suspiciously[/caption]
He allegedly had a scratch on his face, was acting strangely, and blasted loud music through the speakers.
It was enough for the distraught father to call the police who confirmed the girl was on CCTV entering the store.
When officers stormed the property, they heard her muffled cries.
Police believe she had been underground for around 12 hours by the time she was rescued on Wednesday.
Jacob had previously been convicted for femicide, drug trafficking, vehicle theft, animal cruelty, and bodily harm, they said.
He had been placed under house arrest since January and police are now looking into the abuse that has been reported by the girl.
Her mother said: “I’ll give her whatever she wants. I’ll do everything I can to make her happy help her forget this.”
The girl’s case appears to echo that of Elisabeth Fritzl who was abused by her evil father Josef for years in his cellar in Austria.
Josef Fritzl’s crimes
THE twisted dad asks his daughter Elisabeth to help him install a door in his cellar in 1984.
She agreed and moments later she is drugged with an ether-soaked towel, tied up and chained to a bed.
She would spend the next 24 years locked up in the hellish prison in Amstetten.
Evil Fritzl went on to rape her over 3,000 times in a rat-infested bunker.
He would beat and kick her and force her into degrading acts – including re-enacting scenes from violent porn films.
Elisabeth gave birth to seven babies in the cellar with no medical care.
Kerstin, born 1988, Stefan (1990) and Felix (2002) were left to live with their mum in the underground hellhole.
But Lisa, (born 1992) Monica (1994) and Alexander (1996) – were raised upstairs, by Fritzl and his wife Rosemarie after he convinced her they were left on the doorstep by Elisabeth.
Alexander’s twin Michael died shortly after birth with cruel Fritzl tossing his body in an incinerator.
The family’s nightmare sees Fritzl threatening them if they dare to escape and punishing them by switching off the electricity.
Their nightmare comes to an end when Kerstin fell critically ill in 2008.
Fritzl allowed Elisabeth to take her to the hospital where she revealed the shocking horrors she had suffered.
THE British journalist who has been missing in Brazil for over two weeks was reportedly seen boarding a bus before vanishing.
Cops have been searching for any clues over the disappearance of Charlotte Peet, 32, with them now scouring CCTV of the day of the bus journey to help unravel the mystery.

Cops have struggled to find any trace of Charlotte ever since she vanished[/caption]
Police originally ruled out the possibility Charlotte boarded a bus and left Sao Paulo.
But officers have now reopened their lines of enquiry after Charlotte was seen in the city’s Tiete Bus Terminal, reports Brazilian news channel Jornal da Record.
They say cops believe if Charlotte did board the bus, which left from Santana district and was heading to Rio de Janerio, she would have been seen on CCTV.
The respected TV programme confirmed detectives are now analysing footage to try and reconstruct Charlotte’s movements.
Investigators have also confirmed that she purchased a ticket from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro but never used it.
A conflicting report on local TV news site SBT News claims Charlotte didn’t board a bus and instead booked a taxi.
Adding to the puzzle is her phone activity in the days before and after her disappearance on February 8.
Charlotte’s phone was still active as of last Friday but all of her calls are going unanswered, Brazilian cops said.
Investigators made several calls to the Brit’s device on Monday but were unable to get hold of her.
This led authorities to expand the search, checking hospitals and morgues in both Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, so far without success.
It is unclear if officers are able to use GPS location data from the phone to help with their search.
Another area being looked into involves her final post online.
The post saw her looking for a double room in London — suggesting she may have been considering returning home.
She wrote: “Hello. I’m looking for a double room in South West/East London: East Dulwich, Brixton, Herne Hill, Clapham, Balham, Streatham, Camberwell etc or would consider venturing east to the right place.
“I’m a 32-year-old journalist, friendly, respectful and organised. I love reading, keeping active and chatting to friends.
“Let me know if I sound like a good fit! Thanks!”
Peet, who has been working as a journalist in Brazil since 2020, briefly returned to London at the end of 2023 after her family expressed concerns about what they described as her “party life” in Brazil.
I’m very concerned but I just don’t know what’s going on, we’re just trying to pick up the pieces
Derek PeetCharlotte’s dad
But she decided to return to the country in November.
He said that his daughter flew to Brazil where she had worked as a freelance journalist without telling her family.
Mr Peet said: “I wouldn’t say that it was normal, there was something on her mind obviously otherwise she would have let us know.”
“She was then traced to Gatwick Airport and was found to have boarded a plane to Sao Paulo and then the trail went cold.
“It’s very worrying but I don’t have any more to say. I’m very concerned but I just don’t know what’s going on, we’re just trying to pick up the pieces really.”
While police have not ruled out the possibility that Peet voluntarily cut contact with her loved ones, her family remains deeply concerned.
They have provided investigators with her bank account details, IMEI tracking information for her phone, and a copy of her passport in the hopes of finding her.
The Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in Brazil has issued a statement urging authorities to intensify their search.
Meanwhile, Peet’s family has created an email address to collect any information about her whereabouts.
