Decent 8 channel DVR for AHD cameras with web interface?
A relative has an old Amcrest DVR with AHD cameras that hook up with BNC connectors. The interface is antiquated. Needs NPAPI which is getting harder and harder to get working. Does someone make a DVR with a decent web interface and smartphone app that’ll support these kinds of cameras?
The other problem with Amcrest is that it gets too hot and kills hard drives. We’ve gone through 2 already. Something that won’t quickly kill a drive would be nice.
