Blake Allen was taught to respect her body, protect her privacy, and speak up if she ever felt unsafe or if anything made her feel uncomfortable.

Yet, the 14-year-old was suspended from her school after voicing her concern that her school had allowed a male student to use the girls’ locker room as Blake and her teammates changed before volleyball practice.

The blowback didn’t end there either.

Blake’s dad, Travis, was soon suspended from his job as a soccer coach in the school district for defending his daughter on social media.

With the help of Alliance Defending Freedom, they filed a lawsuit against the Orange Southwest School District and Randolph Union High School so that this wouldn’t go unchecked.

It’s wrong to force girls to change in front of boys — and it’s unconstitutional to punish students and parents who aren’t afraid to say so!
